Words cannot fully express your sacrifices. I saw them every day, and I praised you every chance I got. You carried me on your back until I was seven years old and spoiled us as though we had the whole world, when in reality it was just you, Daddy, and my siblings. You continued to carry and support me for the rest of your life. Because of you, I never knew what poverty was, even though we lived so close to the edge of it. I saw your tears, your hard work, and the burdens you carried, but I never truly understood how heavy they were. Now, I fully understand. Thank you for giving us the greatest gift anyone could ever receive; the gift of knowing Jesus Christ and the encouragement to keep seeking Him. Your grandchildren will know your name, Ìwàlolá, the mother of character who brought us true wealth. Rest well, Mother. We continue to enjoy the favor and blessings your character has brought into our lives through the wonderful people God placed in our path because of who you were. I love you to the moon and back. Keep resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
